The Metrology Department available in both our two Italian plants, uses technologically advanced measuring equipment and latest generation software, allowing a safe and reliable carrying out of the production process.
Grey Chamber
Developed in the early 2000s and continuously updated, the Grey Chamber is used to test the quality, size and weight of contaminants on the components to check compliance with the design specifications.
Using different technologies, the components undergo a washing process before being tested. The weight of the remaining contaminants is then examined; thanks to the use of an optical scanner, the type, size and quantity are analysed according to ISO 16232 specifications.
